Emory University seniors Jacob Greene and James Robertson were honored by the University Athletic Association Monday afternoon, earning the conference's Athlete of the Week awards.

Robertson turned in his best start of the 2020 season Saturday afternoon, tossing seven shutout frames as Emory picked up its second shutout of the year, defeating Mary Washington 16-0 in the series finale. Robertson allowed five hits and no walks while striking out seven as he improved to 2-1. He needed just 73 pitches to complete the outing and retired 16 of the final 18 batters he faced.

Greene had another productive week for the Eagles, leading the team to a three-game sweep of UMW. Greene batted 7-for-13 (.538) with two doubles, one home run and four RBI and led the team with a .846 slugging percentage. Greene added three runs scored, two stolen bases and pitched a scoreless inning of relief in the finale to go along with two strikeouts.

Following Monday's defeat to Berry, the Eagles (11-3) take on LaGrange College on the road Tuesday evening, beginning at 5:00 PM.
