Junior Jeremy Evans ended the season with the team's best scoring average at 75.2 strokes per round.  Evans either led or tied as the squad's top performer in six tourneys including a tie for 28th place at the NCAA D-III Championships.  Evans also chalked up a runner-up performance out of 86 players at the O'Briant Memorial during the fall portion of the schedule and helped Emory to a fourth-place finish out of 18 teams.  At the O'Briant, Jeremy came up with back-to-back rounds of 70 and his finish of 140 tied for the third-lowest, two-round score by an Emory individual in school history. He totaled five rounds of par or better including a 69 at the Oglethorpe Fall Invitational which tied as the team's best 18-hole mark of the season.  Evans tied for second place at the UAA Championships and in the process earned a First Team spot on the All-UAA Team.  He was recognized as the UAA Golfer of the Week on four occasions.

Junior Patrick Cohn turned in a breakout year and was right behind Evans in scoring average with a 75.7 per-round mark.  The St. Louis, Mo., native finished or shared the top spot as the team's top player in four tournaments including a fifth-place performance out of 80 contestants at the Emory Spring Invitational.  Cohn also paced the Emory contingent with an 18th-place finish in the 120-player pack at the prestigious Jekyll Island Invitational.  He also garnered a first-team berth on the All-UAA Team by virture of tying for second place.  Cohn paced the field after the first day of the conference championship with a 69, which would eventually tie him with Evans for the low round of the season by an Emory player.

The lone senior on the team was Drew Harker who capped off his career playing in a total of 21 out of a possible 25 rounds and averaging 77.0 strokes per 18 holes.  The four-year letterwinner ranked as Eagles' top man during the fall at the Rhodes Classic and the Greensboro Invitational.    A co-captain with Evans on the '07-08 team, Drew closed out his career playing in a total of 85 rounds and averaging 77.5 strokes per outing.
