Emory senior Shane Miller helped the No.
16-ranked Eagles to a third-place finish out of 16 teams at the
Oglethorpe/Royal Lakes Fall Invitational. The 36-hole
tournament was held at the 6,835-yard, par-71 Royal Lakes Course in
Flowery Branch. Miller opened the event with a career-low round of
67 before posting a 73 to finish with a one-over par 143, good for
a sixth-place tie in the 87-player field.
Emory concluded the Invitational with a team score of 582, trailing
only Methodist (573) and Guilford (580).
