Results
The No. 8-ranked Emory University golf team stands sixth out of
eight teams after one round of play at the Lonnie Barton Memorial
Invitational. The 36-hole tournament is being held at the
7,016-yard, par-72 Savannah Quarters Country Club.
The Eagles finished the opening round of play with a team score of
332. Sharing the top spot after the conclusion of Monday's action
with scores of 318 are High Point University and Bryant
University. Laval University and Logwood are deadlocked for
second at 319 while Long Island University is fifth at 331.
Rounding out the field is Fairfield University with a mark of 338
and Robert Morris at 343.
Emory sophomore Ryan Dagerman is tied for first place on the
individual leader board with a two-over par 74. Sophomore
Michael Mullavey shot an 84 while freshman David Collura checked in
with an 86. Senior Shane Miller and freshman Thomas Mally
posted scores of 88.
The Barton Memorial concludes on Tuesday with a shotgun start
starting at 9:00 a.m.
