Results
The No. 8-ranked Emory University golf team stands eighth out of 15
teams after one round of play at the Callaway Collegiate
Invitational. The tournament is being held at the 7,057-yard,
par 72 Mountain View Golf Course in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
The Eagles finished the opening round of play with a team score of
309, just six strokes out of third place. Holding down the
top spot after 18 holes is the University of West Georgia with mark
of 290. Rounding out the top five are No. 1-ranked Methodist
(297), No. 10 Rhodes (300), Darton Community College (301) and No.
2-ranked and host Huntingdon College (303).
Sophomore Ryan Dagerman turned in Emory's top first-round effort,
posting a three-over par 75, tying for 16th place in the
85-player field. Senior Shane Miller was next on the Emory
leader board at 76, tying for 26th place overall.
Rounding out the team's scorers were freshman Thomas Mally (78) and
junior Daniel Kmetz (80). Freshman Tae Cho checked in with an
82 while freshman David Collura, competing as an individual,
checked in with an 81.

for Tuesday, the teams started round two Monday
