Freshman Johnathan Chen helped the No. 11-ranked Eagles’ golf team to a first-place finish at the Emory Spring Invitational, April 11-12, at the Stone Mountain Golf Course. Chen claimed medalist honors, topping the 89-player field with a two-over par 142 (73-69). His second-round score was the lowest effort turned in by any player over the 36-hole tourney and tied his best outing of the year.
