After turning in a first-day score of 289 on the West Course, the Eagles finished with a second-round mark of 297, leaving it at 586.  Emory is just one shot out of fourth place with Illinois Wesleyan and Methodist University and posting scores of 585.  Pacing the field after two rounds in St. John’s (MN) at 577 (286-291) while Greensboro College is second at 580 (291-289).  Texas Lutheran holds down the No. 3 spot at 584. Recording the top score of the day was Methodist University with a two-under par 286 on the West Course.

Junior Ryan Dagerman and senior Charles Raindre both carded 75’s on Wednesday and show 36-hole scores of 145, good for a 19th-place tie on the individual leader board.  After going out with a three-over 39, Dagerman birdied two of the final three holes to come in at even par 36.  Raindre started out his round with seven straight pars and birdied holes No. 8 and No. 9 to go out at two under 34.  However, a double bogey on the 14th hole hampered his effort on the backside where he finished with a 41.  The team’s best score of the round was turned in by freshman Johnathan Chen who shot even par 72, giving him a two-day score of 146, good for a 28th-place tie.  Sophomore David Collura checks in at 150 after registering his second straight 75 on Tuesday while senior Nick Szem rounded out the team’s competitors with a 76, leaving him at 153 after 36 holes.

Chris Morris of Centre College tops all players after two days with a 12-under par effort of 132.  Morris was on fire Tuesday, coming through with a seven-under par performance of 65 on the West Course.  Tain Lee of Claremont-Mudd Scripps stands second four strokes behind at 136.

The playing field was cut to 15 teams following Wednesday’s play with a score of 600 the cutoff.  The final 36 holes of the Championships will be played on the East Course.
