Round Two In The Books For Emory Golf Team At Marine Federal Credit Union Championship

The No. 19-ranked Emory University golf team enjoyed an excellent day of action during Saturday's second round of action at the Marine Federal Credit Union
Intercollegiate Championship.  The 54-hole tournament is being played at the Paradise Point Golf Course at Camp Lejeune, NC.

Playing on the 6,102-yard, par-70 Scarlet Course, the Eagles posted a school-record score of  274 and stand at 579 through 36 holes.  Emory stands 14th out of the 32 teams and now advances to Gold Division of the tourney on Sunday that will see the top 16 teams play on the 7,040-yard, par-72 Gold Course.

Senior Ryan Dagerman was one of three Emory players to shoot two-under par 68, leaving him with a total of 140 after two rounds.   Junior David Collura and freshman Alex Wunderlich each carded 68s while Johnathan Chen and senior Nick Szem rounded out the team's effort with 70 and 75, respectively.
