The No. 11-ranked Emory University golf team will be one of 41 teams who will take to the course Tuesday morning for the first round of the 2012 NCAA Division III Championships. The 72-hole event is being held at the Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
The Eagles of head coach John Sjoberg are scheduled to tee off at 9:30 a.m. on the 6,850-yrad, par-72 El Campeon Course along with Hope College and the University of LaVerne. On Wednesday, Emory will tackle the 6,950-yard, par-72 Las Colinas Course. Following the second round, the field will be cut to 15 squads with the final 36 holes being contested at El Campeon.
