Emory University junior Johnathan Chen (Sugarland, TX) has been selected by the University Athletic Association as the Golfer of the Week following his performance at the Golfweek D-III Fall Preview  (Oct. 14-16) in Sandestin, Fla. It marked the first time this fall and third in his career that he has been selected for the honor.

Chen concluded the D-III Fall Preview as the team's top performer, finishing in a tie for eighth-place in the 90-player field with a 54-hole score of four-over par 217 (73-74-70).  His final round mark of 70 represented his low mark of the fall and tied for the Eagles' best performance during the tournament.

Chen concluded the fall portion of Emory's 2012-13 schedule with a team-leading 73.8 strokes-per-round average.
