Senior Johnathan Chen was Emory's top performer at the
Navy Spring Invitational.
Chen posted a seven-over par mark of 149 (77-72) that tied for
17th place in the 90-player field. His second round score tied as
the seventh-best outing of the day. It represented the fifth time
during the 2013-14 season that he had finished as the Eagles' top
performer. Emory, the lone Division III team in the Invitational,
tied for 10th place out of 18 squads.
Chen leads the team in scoring average with an average of 74.9
strokes over 22 round this year.
