Freshman Keenan Hickton was the Emory golf team's top performer at the 54-hole Jekyll Island Invitational.
Hickton tied for 19th place in the 150-player field, shooting a five-over par 221 (70-73--78). His opening-day score of two-under 70 represented his best mark of the 2014-15 season while his second-round 73 was his second-best outing.
Prior to Jekyll Island, Hickton garnered First Team All-UAA honors after tying for fifth place at the conference championship, Mar. 8-9, in Sorrento, Fla., posting a team-leading 36-hole showing of 153 (75-78).
