Emory senior Alex Wunderlich tied as the team's top performer at
the Al Jones Memorial held Sept. 29-30 in Tyler, Texas.
Wunderlich compiled a 36-hole score of five-over par 147 that tied
teammate Sam Nichamin among others for eighth place in the
57-player field. After shooting a 77 on the first day of
action, Wunderlich chopped seven shots off his score over the final
18 holes of action with his 70 tying for the second-best score of
the day among all the competitors.
