Saw his final campaign cut short in March of 2020 by the COVID-19 pandemic ... Captured All-America honors for the fourth straight year when he was chosen to the PING Third Team ... All-South Region ... All-University Athletic Association for the fourth time ... Paced the team in scoring average with a mark of 71.8 strokes over 14 rounds of action ... Tied for the team lead with eight rounds of par or better ... Top rounds of the season were a pair of 68s at the Gordin Collegiate Classic (Sept.30) and the Golfweek Fall Preview (Oct. 14) ... Competed in five tournaments and registered a pair of top-10 overall finishes ... Earned UAA Player of the Week honors (Oct. 8) after tying for fifth place out of 75 players at the Gordin Collegiate Classic with a 54-hole score of five-under par 211 (70-68-73) good for seventh place on the school's all-time ladder for a three-round event ... Paced the Eagles' contingent and tied for 12th on the 90-player leader board at the Golfweek Fall Preview with  54-hole showing of one-under 212 (69-68-75) ... Helped the Eagles to a first-place finish at the season-opening DIII Fall Preview (Sept. 14-15) after placing second on the squad and sixth overall out of 90 players with a two-over par 218 (77-69-72) ... Named UAA Player of the Week (Oct. 15) following his performance at the Tartan Invitational after playing his way to medalist honors, topping the 90-player field with a three-under score of 213 (73-67-73), tying the program's sixth-best individual effort for a 54-hole tournament --- helped lead the Eagles to a first-place tie with Wittenberg in the 12-team field with a score of 873 ... Second on the team and third on the leader board out of 70 players at the Gordin Collegiate with a score of five-under 211, tying the school’s sixth-best mark for a 54-hole event – shot a final round 68 that represented the team’s best score at the Collegiate while ranking as his second-best effort of the year ... Named UAA Player of the Week (Sept. 24) after garnering all-tournament acclaim at the NCAA D-III Preview after ranking as the Eagles' top performer, while finishing runner-up in the 90-player field, with a score of one-under par 215 (72-71-72), then tying the school's individual ninth-best mark for a three-round competition -- helped the  Eagles to a first-place finish ...  Tied for 12^th out of 150 competitors at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational after compiling a 54-hole effort of one-under par 215, bettering par twice including an opening-round of two-under par 70 that was the best score of the day for an Emory player ... Tabbed as UAA Player of the Week (Apr. 9) following his performance at the Wynlakes Invitational,  tying as Emory's  top performer while aiding the Eagles to a runner-up finish out of 15 teams at the tournament -- along with Eric Yiu, Matt shot one-under par 141 over the 36 holes, tying for second place on the overall leader board out of 83 players.

Sophomore (2017-18):
Enjoyed another banner season that saw him land his second straight berth to the PING All-America Second Team ... PING All-South Region selection ... Led the team with a 73.2 strokes average over 25 rounds, the second-best school seasonal mark ... Named the UAA Player of the Year for the second straight season ... First Team All-UAA honoree ... Selected as UAA Player of the Week on three occasions ... One of 30 D-III semifinalists for the Jack Nicklaus Award ... Rang up a team-leading 12 rounds of par or better and registered four top-five overall finishes ... Ranked as Emory's top finisher in four tournaments ... Co-medalist out at the 54-hole Rhodes College Fall Classic (99 players), shooting a 10-under par 206 (71-67-68), a school record for a three-round tourney, bettering the previous mark of 212 (Ryan Dagerman, 2012 Marine Federal Credit Union) ... His second-round 67 at the Rhodes College Fall Classic was a career best and tied the program's fifth-best 18-hole outing ... Earned UAA Golfer of the Week accolades (Mar. 20) after winning a pair of match-play competitions at the league championships and then leading the squad while placing 11th out of 150 players at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational, compiling a 54-hole score of two-under par 214 (71-71-72) which tied the school's fifth-best total for a three-round tourney ... UAA Golfer of the Week after placing first on the team and third out of 83 entries at the Discover DeKalb Emory Spring Invitational, shooting an even par 140 (68-72), with his first-round performance tying his second-best 18-hole score ... Shot an opening-round 69 on the first day of play at the NCAA D-III Championships, which at the time set a school record for the top individual 18-hole score at nationals ... Ended the NCAA Championships second on the club and 18th on the leader board with a five-over par 293 (69-76-73-75), the program's fifth-best ever individual mark ... Tied for medalist honors out of 102 players at the weather-shortened Callaway Gardens Intercollegiate with a three-under par 69 ... UAA Championships All-Tournament Team. 

Freshman (2016-17):
Outstanding rookie season that saw him earn numerous awards ... Named as a Second Team All-American ... Second on the team with an average of 74.08 strokes over 23 rounds of play, good for fifth place on the school's seasonal ladder ... Named as one of 30 D-III semifinalists for the Jack Nicklaus Award ... Tabbed as the UAA Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year ... First Team All-UAA ... PING All-South Region Team ... UAA All-Tournament Team after winning both of his match-play contests at the league championships ... Recorded five rounds of par or better ... Named UAA Player of the Week (Oct. 10) following his performance at the Oglethorpe/Royal Lakes Fall Invitational where he paced the Eagles' effort and finished fifth out of 102 players with a 36-hole score of four-under par 140 (70-70), with that effort tying the program's fourth-best effort for a two-round tourney, and tying with Rod Olivero for the top Emory score at that event ... Tied for first on the team and fifth overall on the 95-player leader board at the Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational (Oct. 9-11) with a one-over par 214 (74-71-69), tying the program's third-best effort for a 54-hole event ... Best round of the year came on the final day of the DIII Fall Invitational when he carded a two-under par 69 ... Tops on the team and tied for 10th out of 102 entries at the Callaway Gardens Invitational (Mar. 6-7), registering a four-over par 148 (74-74) ... Ranked second among the Emory contingent and stood 10th out of 150 hopefuls at the Jekyll Island Collegiate (Mar. 17-19) with 54-hole mark of 218, which included a two-under par 70 during the second day of action. 

High School:
Played on the golf team at Lincoln-Sudbury High School for four years … Was coached by John Murch … Two-time captain … Led the team in scoring average his junior and senior years … Three-time Dual County League All-Star … Boston Herald All-Scholastic Team his final three years … Metro-West Daily All-Star on three occasions …  Qualified for a berth to compete in the 2016 United States Amateur Championship … Competed for Team Massachusetts in the 2014 and 2015 New England Junior Amateur Invitational … Three-time selection to the Daily News Super Team … Helped Lincoln-Sudbury to a runner-up finish at the Division I North Sectional with a score of 74 … Tied for eighth place overall at the 2015 Massachusetts Division Golf Championship … Led his team to Dual County League title and a win at the Division I North Sectional … Competed in the IMG Junior Worlds as a 14 year old and a 17 year old … Came in second at the 2014 Massachusetts Junior Amateur … Also played No. 1 singles for the Warriors' tennis team.
