Emory University junior Max Schwarz (Paradise Valley, AZ) has been selected by the University Athletic Association as Men's Golfer of the Week following his effort at the Jekyll Island Collegiate. It represents both the second straight week and second time in his career that he has been selected for the award.

Playing on the 6,700-yard, par-72 Pine Lakes Course at the Jekyll Island Golf Club, Schwarz led Emory and tied for second out of 133 competitors with a four-under 212 (70-70-72), tying the program's 11th-best score for a three-round tournament.  Schwarz logged a total of 13 birdies over the weekend, tying the second-highest total in the field. Max shot par or better on all three days, extending his streak to five rounds so far this spring.

No. 2-ranked Emory finished third out of 25 teams at the Jekyll Island Collegiate.

The Eagles return to action, April 2-4, when they compete at the Golfweek Invitational in Howie-in-the-Hills, Florida.
