Fifth-year senior Davis Hingtgen helped the Emory men's golf team to a second-place finish out of 24 teams at the Golfweek D-III Fall Preview (sept. 19-21) held at the Los Colinas and El Campeon Courses at the Mission Inn Resort located in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

Hingtgen tied for Emory's top scorer and sixth overall in the 122-player field, carding a 54-hole score of four-under par 212 (71-72-69). He shot par or better in all three rounds with his final-day score representing a career best.  His total of 14 birdies led the team and ranked third among the field and he tied for the second-best scoring average for par-4 holes (3.93).
