The Eagles rebounded from their first-round score of 313 (+25) to shoot a 289 (+1) and climb four spots on the leaderboard. Emory finds itself in seventh place and 18 strokes off the leader with a two-day score of 602 (+26) heading into the final round on Tuesday.

The Eagles had the fifth best team-score of all teams on Monday, propelling them up the leaderboard. On the day, Emory racked up 15 birdies and two eagles. The Eagles flourished on Par 5s, picking up both eagles and 11 of their birdies on these holes.

Leading the way for Emory was junior Josh Qian. Qian, this week's UAA Men's Golfer of the Week, shot a stellar 71 (-1) on the day. He compiled four birdies as well, helping push the Eagles up the leaderboard. His two-day total now sits at 149 (+5) to put him 14 strokes off the individual lead and tied for 21st.

Close behind is junior Tony Li, who shot a 73 (+1) on Monday. Li had an up and down day, consisting of four birdies and an eagle paired with five bogeys and a double bogey. Yet, the junior still finds himself in good company, tied for 24th and 15 strokes off the lead with a 150 (+6) heading into the final round.

Senior Jackson Klutznick was steady on Monday, shooting a 72 (E) to bring his two-day total to 151 (+7). The senior tapped in five birdies on the day. He now finds himself tied for 31st and 16 strokes off the individual lead.

Freshman Kevin Mu round out the scores for the Eagles on Monday with a 73 (+1). Mu rebounded nicely from his first round, picking up three birdies and an eagle in his second round. The freshman's two-day score is now at 157 (+13), putting him tied for 62nd on the individual leaderboard.
