Senior Chad Hixon recorded back-to-back double-doubles, and averaged 13.5 points and 11.5 rebounds, in helping the Eagles to a pair of wins.  The 6-foot-3 Hixon totaled 12 points and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds in an 88-74 triumph over Greensboro College.  He followed that effort by pacing the club with 15 points, along with a career-high 13 boards (seven on the offensive end), as the Eagles subdued Hanover College by an 89-81 count.  Combined, Hixon shot 47.6 percent (10-of-21) from the field in the two outings. Hixon, who has either led or shared for the team's lead in rebounding in three contests this year,  now has four career double-doubles to his credit and 21 efforts of double-figure scoring.

Through nine games, Hixon is third on the team in scoring (10.6 ppg) and first in rebounding (6.8 rpg).
