Sophomore (2009-10): Saw reserve duty in all 23 games he saw action in ... Averaged 5.6 minutes per stint and ended the year converting 75 percent (15-of-20) of his field goal opportunities ... Scored in nine and grabbed rebounds in 14 contests ... Provided a lift to the team after scoring all five of his points during a 13-minute first-half stretch, while grabbing three rebounds, vs. Maryville (Nov. 28) ... Freshman (2008-09): Emerged a key member of the frontline his rookie season ... Took to the court in 18 games and drew five starting assignments, all of which came over the last five contests of the campaign ... Averaged 9.6 points and 2.3 points per effort ... In league play, he logged 13.6 minutes and averaged 3.2 points ... Gave the team a big boost off the bench with a season-high 10 points, hitting five-of-six from the floor, in an 83-74 win over Rochester (Feb. 1) ... Sank three-of-five from the field and recorded six points, a season-best four rebounds and a pair of blocked shot vs. Chicago (Feb. 15) ... Connected on both of his field goal tries and both of his charity tosses in registering six points in seven minutes of play vs. LaGrange (Dec. 3).


High School: Four-year member of the basketball program at North Mecklenburg High School ... Coached by Duane Lewis ... Averaged 6.0 points and rebounds as a senior in helping his team to an overall record of 24-6 that included conference and sectional championships ... On the 2005-06 team to a 4A state runner-up finish.
