Senior Alex Greven averaged a team-high 20.0 points, grabbed a
team-high tying 7.0 rebounds and averaged 4.5 assists in helping
the Emory men's basketball team to a pair a double-digit road
wins.
The 6-foot-3 Greven shot .600 from the floor (15-25), .400 from
three-point range (4-of-10) and sank all six of his free throw
attempts in aiding the Eagles to improving their overall record to
11-4, 3-2 in the University Athletic Association.
Greven led all players with 21 points, his fifth effort of 20 or
more points this season, sinking eight-of-13 from the floor, along
with all four of his free throw attempts in an 82-60 win vs. Case
Western. He also grabbed six rebounds and doled out four
assists. He followed that contest with another solid outing
against Carnegie Mellon, tallying 19 points on seven-of-12 field
goal shooting, including three-of-six from three-point range, as
the Eagles posted a 95-70 triumph. In addition, he paced the
team in rebounding for the fourth time this year by snatching a
game-high eight boards and dished out five assists.
