Senior Alex Greven turned in a pair of big games in helping the Emory men's basketball teams to a pair of home UAA victories.
Greven put together a pair of back-to-back season-high tying 26 point contests as the Eagles defeated Case Western, 106-87, and Carnegie Mellon, 84-61. Greven tied for game-high scoring honors against CWRU, hitting nine-of-16 from the floor including a career-best six-of-nine from three-point range. Against Carnegie Mellon, he led all players in scoring, continuing his hot-shooting ways by converting eight-of-11 from the and field while tying his career best with another six trey-performance in nine tries.
In the two games combined, he shot .630 (17-of-27) from the floor including .667 (12-of-18) from distance. He now has eight outings of 20 or more points this year.
