Davis Rao

Senior Davis Rao ranked second on the team in scoring and first in rebounding in helping the Emory men's basketball team to a pair of home victories. 

Rao averaged 16.0 points and 7.5 rebounds as the Eagles topped Chicago and Washington University, raising their overall record to 15-5 and league-leading mark to 8-1.

Rao recorded his first career double-double in the 61-53 triumph over Chicago, finishing with 17 points (second high on the team) and a game-high 10 rebounds, which tied his personal best. He ended the game hitting four-of-seven field goal attempts, including three triples in six tries, and six free throws in eight opportunities.  Rao closed out the weekend by posting 15 points (second high on the club) and a team-high tying five boards in a 74-73 decision over Washington University.  Rao was successful on five field goals in 11 attempts and drained three three-pointers en route to registering his 12th double-figure scoring contest of the campaign. 

Through games played Feb. 5, Rao is No. 2 among UAA players with a 42.9 percent mark  (39 of 91) from three-point range.
