Senior Will Trawick led the Emory men's basketball team in scoring and was second in rebounding in helping the squad to a pair of wins in three outings.

Trawick averaged 20.0 points and 6.7 rebounds as the Eagles closed out the week with an overall record of 4-1.  He shot 55.2 percent (16 of 29) from the field, including 38.5 percent (5 of 13) from beyond the arc, and was successful on 82.1 percent (23 of 28) from the foul line.

After ranking as one of three double-figure scorers with 11 points in a 72-65 decision over Belhaven, Trawick exploded  vs. No. 4 St. Thomas in the club's opening game at the Hoopsville Classic, leading all players in scoring with a career-high tying 27 points, shooting 8-of-15 from the floor and 10-of-11 from the stripe.  In addition, he tied for the team's rebound lead with seven boards.  He followed the performance with a team-best 22 points, 14 in the first half as he helped the Eagles rally from a 17-point deficit.  He closed out the game vs. the Mustangs successful on five-of-eight from the field, three-of-five from beyond the arc, and nine-of-13 from the foul line as Emory emerged with a 79-75 victory.  He was second on the team with seven boards.
