The Emory University men's basketball team suffered its third loss in a row early Sunday afternoon, falling to Case Western Reserve University, 102-75, in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Spartans shot lights out from the floor as they kept pace with WashU on the conference leaderboard. With the defeat, the Eagles fall to 6-5 in UAA play and 15-7 overall on the season. CWRU finished at 59.7% shooting in the 27-point win and were 18-for-34 in three-point attempts.

Three different Spartans had 21 points or more, led by Mitch Prendergast's game-high 29 points as he sank seven three pointers. Danny Frauenheim had a double-double with 23 points and 10 assists while Umar Rashid led all bench scorers with 21 points, including six converted threes.

For the Eagles, freshmen Benjamin Pearce and Jair Knight each contributed 15 points to lead the team. Senior JJ Halaby notched a career-best 12 points in 17 minutes off the bench. Senior Mason Johnson joined them in double figures as he had 11 points.
