Senior Christian Meyer of the Emory University Men's Soccer team was named the University Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Meyer celebrated Senior Day in style this past Saturday as he scored the golden goal to lift the Eagles to the 3-2 win over Rochester in overtime at the Woodruff PE Center. Meyer finished the game with three shots with two being on target. This is Meyer's first Athlete of the Week honor is his career.

The Eagles travel to Lynchburg, VA this weekend to face Dickinson College in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
