Spent four years playing with the Alan C. Pope soccer program, serving as a team captain for his junior and senior seasons...Appeared in 61 career games, totaling two goals and nine assists...Named 2019 All-County Honorable Mention and 2020 Team Defensive MVP...Played 13 years with the North Atlanta Soccer Association (NASA) soccer club...Was club captain for his final two seasons...Helped team reach ECNL Nationals in 2018...Voted by the region's coaches as one of the top players in the Southeastern ECNL Conference following the 2018-19 season...Graduated from the STEM Academy at Pope (2020)...Received the Georgia Certificate of Merit for being in the top 5% of his class junior year (from UGA in 2019)..National Merit Commended Scholar (2019)...Honor Roll every year (2017-2020).

Born on March 19...Son of Hany Atallah and Louise Chang...Father, Hany, played football at Washington University in St. Louis from 1990-1994.

Why he chose Emory?

"Emory University gave me the opportunity to receive a second to none level education while being able to experience the intensity of a collegiate sport.  The location of Emory being in Atlanta also played a huge role.  I noticed the opportunities that a growing city like Atlanta could provide me, and the proximity paired with such a renowned school struck me as an easy decision to make.  Playing soccer at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine, and the opportunity given to me to play for Emory made the decision even easier.  After taking a tour and an official visit, I knew Emory could be the place where I could have fun and call home for the next four years"
