Senior (2005-06):

Hake, a senior, earned the title of National Champion for the second consecutive year.  This season he earned his first National Champion title in an individual event with his win in the 100-yard butterfly.  Hake earned four All-America certificates this year, placing him first all-time in school history with 17.  His All-America certificates this season were earned with his first place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, his fourth place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, his fourth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay, and his fifth place finish in the 200-yard medley relay.  Hake also earned an All-America Honorable Mention honor with his ninth place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay.  Hake earned the title of Conference Champion in four events this season.  These titles came with his wins in the 100-yard butterfly, the 200-yard freestyle relay, the 200-yard medley relay, and the 400-yard medley relay.

Junior (2004-05):

Hake, a junior, earned a national championship honor this season by swimming a leg on the 200-yard medley relay team, the first relay team in school history to win a national championship. Hake earned five All-America certificates this year placing him third all-time at Emory with 13 for his career. He earned an All-America certificate by placing fourth in the 100-yard butterfly. Hake also earned All-America honors in four relay events (200-free, 400-free, 200-medley, and 400-medley). Hake time in the 100-yard fly at the University of Georgia Fall Invitational was the fastest on the team this season for that event. He currently holds the top four fastest times for this event in school history. Hake was third on the team of 40 competitors in points scored in dual and championship meets.

Sophomore (2003-04):

Hake, a sophomore, earned four All-America citations for the second year in a row. He placed third in the 100-yard butterfly at the national championships, the highest finish in that event in school history. His time of 48.54 seconds in the 100 fly is the sixth fastest ever swum in an NCAA championship finals. Hake also swam legs on three All-America relays: 200- and 400-yard medley and 200-yard free. He earned All-America honorable mention with his ninth-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly. Hake broke the school record in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 48.54 seconds. He had the third-highest season points total on the team out of 32 competitors.

Freshman (2002-03):

The freshman began his Emory career by earning four All-America certificates in four events (one individual, three relay). He finished eighth in the 100-yard butterfly at the NCAA national championships. Hake was a member of top-eight finishes in the 200-yard freestyle relay, and 200- and 400-yard medley relays. He surpassed the NCAA provisional qualifying time in the 100-yard backstroke and both butterfly events (100 and 200). Hake finished seventh among the team's 32 competitors for most points earned in dual and championship meets. He had the team's top time in the 100-yard butterfly this season with a time of 49.51 seconds, which is the third fastest in Emory history.
