Quote:

"If you said to me in high school that I would be swimming for Emory University, I would have laughed in your face. Emory is in my backyard; my mother works in the medical school and my house is a short drive from campus. I started to get in contact with Emory coaches and was soon brought up to speed on what Emory swimming has accomplished. This was news to me! Here I had a great academic venue with a thriving athletics program that fit my desire to excel in swimming, and it was literally under my nose. My doubts and trepidation of Emory being too close to home were quickly alleviated by a phenomenal recruiting trip. So here I am an Eagle, and couldn't be more satisfied."
