Junior (2006-07):

Lake earned a team-best four All-America certificates at the 2007 National Championship meet, the 500-free, 400-IM, 1650-free and as part of the 800-freestyle relay team.  The nine All-America certificates he has earned over his career are the seventh-most in school history, and the junior's time of 15:37.88 set a new school record.  In addition, his time of 3:58.98 in the 400-IM was the second-fastest time in school history.  Lake also earned All-University Athletic Association honors after finishing in the top-three at the Conference Championship meet.  He swam the best Emory time of the season in the 500-freestyle, 1000-freestyle, 1650 freestyle, and 400 IM.  Lake earned 251.50 points for the Eagles during the season.

Sophomore (2005-06):

Lake, a sophomore, earned All-America certificates in four events this season.  He earned these honors with his fifth place finishes in the 1650-yard freestyle competition and the 800-yard freestyle relay and his sixth place finishes in the 400-yard individual medley and the 500-yard freestyle competition.  Lake also earned the title of conference champion this season with his win in the 1650-yard freestyle competition

Freshman (2004-05):

Lake, a freshman, earned his first All-America certificate this season by finishing eighth in the 1650-yard freestyle at the NCAA Division III national championships. Lake's time at the University of Georgia Fall Invitational in this event was the fastest on the team this season. Lake currently holds the 12th fastest time in school history in the 1650 free.
