Sophomore (2007-08):
Cross earned all-UAA honors as part of both the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relays during his sophomore campaign. He set personal-best times in each of the 50-yard, 100-yard and 200-yard freestyles at the UAA Swimming and Diving Championships, and personal bests in the 100-yard fly and 200-yard individual medley against Darton College (Ga.). Cross was the second-best Emory performer in the 50 free, third-best in the 100 free and fifth best in the 200 free during the season. His 126.25 points scored during the season was the 17th-best total on the team.
Freshman (2006-07):
Cross swam in four individual events for the Eagles during his freshman season, the 50-free, 100-free, 200-free and 100-butterfly. He scored 46 points for Emory during the 2006-07 season.

Attended Thomas S. Wootton High School, where he swam for four seasons... Served as the captain of the team during his junior and senior years... Competed in the 50, 100 and 200 meter freestyle... Was a 2006 Sectionals swimmer... Was coached by Howard Blume and Jim Williams... Played on his high school football team during his freshman year.
