Emory Aims for National Titles at the NCAA DIII Swimming & Diving Championships

The Emory University men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will head to Minneapolis, MN in search of a national title, as the Eagles will take part in the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships from Wednesday, March 17th – Saturday, March 20th.

The meet, hosted by Beloit College and the College of Wooster, will be held in the Dorothy L. Sheppard Pool at the University of Minnesota.

The Emory women, ranked first in Division III, will enter the meet in the hunt for the national championship after finishing second in the nation at last year’s meet.  The Eagles have won the Division III Championship twice before, in both 2005 and 2006.

The Emory men will enter the meet ranked fourth in Division III.  The Eagles finished second at the 2009 national championship, matching the best finish in school history and marking the third time in school history the Eagles have finished second.

Action at the meet will start with the swimming and diving preliminaries at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, and continue daily until the finals session at 6:00 PM on Saturday.  There will be a live video webcast and live results for each session.  For more information, follow the link to the Championship website below.
