Emory University sophomore Ross Spock recorded four first-place finishes and an NCAA ‘B’ cut time during the Emory Fall Invitational last weekend.  Spock’s ‘B’ cut time came with a second-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 51.51 seconds.  He finished first in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:55.05, and as part of Emory’s 200-yard medley (1:34.76), 200-yard freestyle (1:24.77), and 400-yard freestyle (3:09.73) relays.  Spock also finished third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.99 seconds, fifth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.65 seconds, and third as the backstroke leg of the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:30.85.  His finishes accounted for 105 points, helping Emory to a win at the meet.
