Emory University sophomore Andrew Wilson opened the 2014 portion of the third-ranked Eagles schedule by notching first-place finishes and NCAA ‘B’ cut times in a pair of individual events during the team’s dual meet against Division II Florida Southern College on Friday. Wilson swept the breaststroke events, winning the 100-yard breaststroke with a ‘B’ cut time of 57.53 seconds, and followed with a victory in the 200-yard breaststroke with a provisional qualifying time of 2:06.57. He was also Emory’s top finisher in the 200-yard individual medley, claiming second in a time of 1:57.67, and was a part of the Eagles’ second-place 200-yard medley relay team with a mark of 1:33.94. Wilson accounted for 23 points during the meet, as Emory fell by a score of 165-97 to the Moccasins, the fourth-ranked NCAA Division II team.
