Swam for four seasons on the Naperville Central High School team, serving as the team captain during his senior year... Won all-America and all-state honors while in high school... Helped his team to the 2010 Illinois High School Association State Championship... Swam career best times of 1:42.79 in the 200-yard freestyle, 51.21 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly, and 1:53.71 in the 200-yard butterfly... Coached by Mike Adams and Bob Strube.
