Emory University sophomore Mitchell Cooper won a pair of individual events and was a part of a winning relay during the third-ranked Eagles’ dual-meet triumph over Darton College on Saturday at the Woodruff Physical Education Center. Cooper won both the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard backstroke with times of 1:55.01 and 51.74 seconds, respectively. In addition, he swam the backstroke leg of the Eagles’ 200-yard medley relay team, helping the squad win the event with a time of 1:33.83. Cooper helped Emory claim a 119-87 win over Darton, as the team improved to 3-2 in dual meets this season.
