Prior to Emory:
Was a four-year member of the Trinity High School team... Was his high school's record holder in three events... Named the team's Most Valuable Swimmer in 2014... Helped the team to a second-place finish at the State Championships in 2011 and a third-place finish in 2012... Recorded career-best times of 57.28 in the 100 breast, 2:04.75 in the 200 breast and 1:53.14 in the 200 IM... Coached by Watne Kraus in high school... Also competed for the Lakeside Swim Team, where he was coached by Mike De Bor.
Personal:
Born December 26th... Was an academic All-American in high school and a two-time Shakespeare Award winner.
