Junior Dillon Pottish helped the Eagles to a 4-0 week that
included three wins en route to a ITA National Indoor
Championship. Pottish registered a 4-0 mark at No. 1 singles
and a 3-1 slate in doubles in helping the squad raise its spring
record to 7-1. In a 5-2 triumph over Division I foe
Georgetown, Pottish notched a 6-2, 6-1 win over Michael Clark and
joined forces with senior Colin Egan for an 8-3 win at No. 3
doubles. At the National Indoor Championships, Pottish
recorded three straight-set wins at No. 1 singles including a 6-4,
6-2, verdict over Washington University’s Isaac Stein in the
title match.
Pottish, the No. 1-ranked singles player in the D-III ranks, is
17-1 overall this year, 8-0 in dual action.
