Junior Dillon Pottish helped the No. 4-ranked Emory men’s tennis team to a pair of spring season-opening matches last week. Pottish, the No. 1-ranked Division III singles player, posted straight-set wins against Badr Cherradi (6-2, 6-2) of Shorter and Salif Kante (6-3, 6-4) at No. 1 in helping Emory record 8-1 victories against both opponents. Pottish also was in on a pair of doubles victories as he joined forces with Colin Egan for an 8-1 triumph over Shorter’s Grayson Jones and Cody Carr and then with Ayush Bajoria for an 8-0 verdict Brian Le and Ramin Zamanie of Georgia Perimeter, both coming at the No. 3 slot.
