Freshman Brian Kowalski helped the No. 2-ranked Eagles remain
undefeated, winning a pair of singles and doubles matches. In the
squad’s 8-1 decision over Shorter University, Kowalski topped
Florain Etienne, 6-2, 6-2, at the No. 2 singles spot and teamed
with senior Dillion Pottish to earn an 8-1 verdict at No. 3
doubles. In Emory’s 7-2 triumph over No. 4 Johns
Hopkins, Kowalski bettered Ben Hwang, 6-0, 6-4, at No. 3 singles
and posted a 9-7 win with Pottish at No. 3 doubles. Emory is
now 12-0 this spring.
