2012 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championships Bracket

The second-ranked Emory University men's tennis team will play host to the first three rounds of the 2012 Division III Championships, this Friday through Sunday (May 11-13).

After receiving a first-round bye, the Eagles (20-0) will play the winner of Friday's first-round contest between Texas-Tyler (17-5), champions of the American Southwest Conference, and Washington and Lee University (21-3), champions of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference,
on Saturday.   Another Saturday second-round match will pit North Carolina Wesleyan (16-2), the USA South Athletic Conference titlist, against Whitman College (24-1), the champions of the Northwest Conference.  The regional final will be played on Sunday with the victor of that contests advancing to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Championships in Cary, NC.    All times for this weekend's action in Atlanta will be announced on Tuesday (May 8) on www.emoryathletics.com.

This is the 23rd-consecutive year the Eagles have earned an NCAA Tournament berth, advancing at least as far as the quarterfinals 20 times in that stretch.  Emory has earned a spot in the national semifinals in nine of the past 10 seasons and has captured the team championships in 2003 and 2006.
