The Emory men's tennis team has advanced to the finals of the University Athletic Association Championships after defeating Carnegie Mellon in a semifinal match.  The No. 1-ranked Eagles captured their sixth straight match and raised their overall record to 19-3 following an 8-1 triumph over the No. 8 Tartans who slipped to 15-6.

After finishing doubles with a 2-1 lead, Emory put on a dominating display in singles, capturing all six encounters.  Sophomore Jonathan Jemison at No. 2, junior Aman Manji at No. 3, freshman Adrien Bouchet at No. 4 and junior Josh Goodman at No. 5 all won in straight sets, while senior Rafe Mosetick (No. 1) and freshman Andrew Harrington (No. 6) both win three-set battles.  Jemison's victory was his eighth straight and upped his season record to 24-4 (15-2 dual), with Manji claiming his sixth straight triumph, upping his overall slate to 18-5.  Bouchet's outcome was his 20th win in 27 decisions on the year and his 14th in 17 outings at the No. 4 spot.  Goodman and Harrington came away with their 19th and 18th wins of the year, respectively.
