The Emory men's tennis team concluded their play at the ITA Cup on Sunday morning, with sophomore Dean Kamenev finishing second in the Singles Draw.

Kamenev had one of the most difficult routes to the finals, having to go through the No. 1 and 4 seeded players in the draw before taking on No. 2 seeded Theron from Sewanee in the finals. Theron and Kamenev are familiar with one another, having gone head-to-head in the ITA Regional finals where Theron came out on top.

He put up a strong effort against one of the nation's top players, but ultimately fell short and lost in two sets (0-6, 3-6). Kamenev concludes his fall schedule bringing home four plaques, including an ITA South Regional Doubles Championship.
