Prior to Emory:

Was a two-year member of the track and field team at Branson High School... Named his the county Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2014... Third-place in the high jump in the Marin County Athletic League in 2014... Second team all-county in 2013 and 2014... Cleared the bar at a career-best 1.85 meters... Also played basketball.

Personal:

Born October 22nd... Was an AP Scholar in high school.
