Prior to Emory:

Was a three-year member of the track and field team at Highland Park High School, serving as a team captain during his junior and senior years... Was an All-State honoree in the 60-meter hurdles in 2014, and earned all-conference recognition from 2012-14... State qualifier in the 110-meter hurdles... Recorded a career-best time of 14.88 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles... Helped his team to an indoor and outdoor conference championship in 2014... Was coached by Kevin Cains... Also played football and volleyball in high school.

Born October 8th... Was an AP Scholar and an Honor Roll member in high school.
