Senior Benjamin Rogin and freshman Luis Torres highlighted the Emory University Men's Track & Field performers on Saturday afternoon as the Eagles opened competition at the UAA Indoor Championships at the Veale Athletic Center on the campus of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Rogin turned in the top preliminary time in the 60m Hurdles, tying his personal best at 8.33 as he heads into tomorrow's finals with the top seed time. Rogin's mark also represents the second fastest time in program history. In the 5000m Run, Torres netted the lone individual scoring finish for the Eagles, placing fourth in the event with a time of 15:04.62.

In the Distance Medley Relay, sophomores Samuel Branson, Alex Rand and seniors Robert Wilhelm III and Max Brown added points for the Eagles, finishing fourth at 10:14.74 behind an impressive final leg by Brown. Their time places them seventh all-time in program history.

Freshman Liam Fost advanced to the finals in the 400m Dash as he posted the fourth fastest prelim time at 50.82.
