At the South Carolina Invitational, Spencer Watry had a record-breaking day in both of the events he competed in. In the 800m run, Watry registered a time of 1:53.62 which is the third best time in program history and his adjusted time sees him sitting at 19th in the nation according to TFRRS. Watry ran the one mile event in 4:11.51 which marks the all-time indoor record for the Eagles and sees him with the 15th fastest time in the nation. Watry's times in both the 800m run is good for first amongst UAA competition while his time in the 1 mile run sits at second in the conference.
