Through the first day of competition at the UAA Indoor Championships in Waltham, Massachusetts, the Emory University men's indoor track & field team sits in third place while having turned in three All-UAA performances.

The Eagles accumulated 41 points through one day of competition with five of the 16 events having been scored thus far. The WashU Bears lead with 54 points tallied while the Carnegie Mellon Tartans hold the silver medalist position having accumulated 49.33 points.

Freshman Henry Brandstadter was responsible for two of the Eagles All-UAA performances as he took home the UAA title in both the long jump and the high jump events. Brandstadter registered a distance of 7.15m to win the long jump, marking the fourth time this season he has registered a distance to land himself in the top five in program history. Brandstadter registered a height of 1.98m to win the high jump making him the first freshman to secure two All-UAA performances since teammate Jackson Price did it last season.

Junior Kenya Sei turned in the Eagles third and final All-UAA performance of the day as he finished third in the weight throw having recorded a program record distance of 16.16m. Sei broke the 15.99m program record of Joe Cook which was set at the NCAA Championships back in 1995.
