(Oct. 17) Vikram Srivastava ran a breakout race for the Eagles at the Georgia State Invitational, finishing in 23rd place overall and fifth in the Non-Division I section of the race. Srivastava finished second on the team, his highest finish among his teammates this season, and the highest of any freshman on the men's team since November 2, 1997, when Adam Carlson was second on the team at the UAA Conference Championship meet. He ran a time of 26:39 on the challenging course in Panthersville.

(Oct. 10) Junior Rob Leventhal finished 73rd at the Auburn Invitational in Auburn, Ala., in a time of 25:42.61.  Leventhal's time marked a season best, as well as a career best in a field that was comprised mainly of Division I teams.  His previous best was 25.55, recorded earlier this year at the Vanderbilt Invitational.

(Oct. 3) Sophomore Evan Goldberg finished 40th at the Georgia Collegiate in Macon, Ga., to lead the Emory University men's cross country team. He concluded the race in a time of 27:45 to pace the Eagle contingent. This marked Goldberg's top performance of the year through four races.

As a team, the Eagles finished with 32 points and a total time of 2:10:12.09, beating out Division I Vanderbilt.

(Sept. 5) Sophomore Bryan Forsyth finished eighth at the Sewanee Invitational to lead the Eagles who finished tied for third as a team. Forsyth finished the race in a time of 27:13.28. His finish marked a career best, which was previously 12th. He improved his finish from 2004 by four places and his time by 19 seconds. Forsyth was the 2004 team newcomer of the year after finishing among the Eagles' top seven in every event.
