My favorite place on the Emory campus:  The Woodpec, I spend too much time there for it not to be.

Favorite pro athlete:  Antawn Jamison

The sports teams I followed when I was younger: North Carolina and most of the Boston teams - Patriots, Celtics. For some reason I've always hated the Red Sox even though I'm from New Hampshire

My favorite class at Emory and why: History of Film since 1938. I learned so much about the industry and I look at films a completely different way now.

The people who have helped me most at Emory are and why: My teammates. They're always there for me when I've needed them most

Any pre-meet/competition rituals:  I always listen to Baba O'Reilly by The Who after I warm up and before I put on my spikes

The sport I would be playing if I wasn't running/on the track and field team: I played basketball in high school

If I could have dinner with only three people in history, they would be: James Naismith, Johnny Evers (my great uncle, who's in the Baseball Hall of Fame and I never got to meet), George Washington

The best advice I have ever been given and who gave it to you: You should never go into a race nervous. The training you've done should give you the confidence you need to succeed - Bob Kennedy

What is something that very few, if any, people know about you: I was actually born in Atlanta
