Senior Barri Levinson helped the Eagles to a first-place finish
out of eight squads at the Quaker Invitational. Levinson led
the Emory pack and crossed the finish line in second place out of
68 entries with an 8K time of 27:04. Levinson's performance
was part of an overall effort that saw the Eagles finish with 35
points. Virginia Wesleyan was runner-up with 51 points.
The 11th-ranked Emory squad returns to action on Oct. 31 when it
competes at the University Athletic Association Championships.
